Critique

AV Import Register (Toy, Utility, Pastoral & Working)  PD 1 Balode & Emerson's Guy Mexyeliss (Imp) (Xoloitzcuintle). 7 months old and so clean and controlled in the ring for one so young. Correct wedge shaped head with clean planes and proportions. Alert expression thanks to his well set ears and eyes. Strong neck of good length into well made forehand. Stands on the best of feet. Comes into his own on the move with a no nonsense stride and effortless gait. In unison with his handler at all times. BP. 2  Harvey's  Pumiden Ear Far Whereva U'are (Pumi). Another 7 month old but this boy needs a bit more time to be at his best which given his build he should be up there when he matures on and settles on the move. Scores well in head with good pigmentation and correct bite. Enough in ribbing for age and size. Showed signs of a positive movement but needs to be more controlled overall. 3 Van Loo-Goesaert  Morningcalm Heart Of Gold (Korean Jindo).  JD 1 Smithurst's  Arkosligeti Kocos Nekeresd (Imp) (Pumi). This 8 month old boy was the easiest mover in the class today. Good head shape and ratios. Medium length of neck into moderate shoulders and overall front assembly. Holds his shape at all times whether standing or in motion. Shown in good coat and body toning for his age. 2 Thornton & Griffiths'  Fawncrest Roly (Xoloitzcuintle).  Well made boy rising a year old but today he was not at his best and gave his handler a hard time particularly on the move where he was somewhat erratic only showing glimpses of his construction which was a shame because he is well made he just needs to get his act together with his owner. 3 Sanford's  Fato (Bergamasco).

PGD  1 Baynton & Bebb's  Alfie Bangwood (Imp) (Entlebucher). 3 year old proportionate lad that was presented in super body toning. Good head to handle with dark round eyes and ears set on high and used well. Holds his topline on the move covering the ground smoothly. 2 Sanford's  Fato (Bergamasco). Something of a quandary this lad because he is well made in structure but just did not want to show this off in his movement where he is playful and hard work for his handler. Strong head of good proportions, correct dentition, clean expressive eyes. He just needs a lot of time and effort put into him to reap the rewards.

LD 1 Thornton & Lockhart's Sheldobchi Drummer Boy (Xoloitzcuintle). At 16 months this boy is strong all through without being overdone in any area just solid and sound. Well proportioned in head to body with well set ears and eyes giving him an alert look at all times. Moderate front and rear angulation allowing free and effortless movement covering the ground with a good stride. Shown in hard conditioning.

OD  1 Pike & Pike's Aprodombi Lelkes Levente Breezelyn (Imp) (Pumi).  Another relatively young dog at just 19 months but today he showed his socks off never putting a foot wrong in his meaningful stride. Excels in head with required pigmentation and expressive eyes. Super forehand both in angulation and muscle toning which is mirrored to a "T" in his hindquarters giving him complete balance and symmetry whether static or on the move. Ample spring in ribbing and depth in chest. Topline remains firm thanks to his toned body. Put down to the minute in jacket to complete the picture. BD & BIR. 2 Sanford's Fato.

GCD 1 Burnett's  Torfheide Beethoven At Skyeannroos (Entlebucher) Super shape and balance to this 5 year old boy and a real credit to his owner for presenting him in such muscular condition. Scores well in head being broad in skull and wedge shaped. Powerful neck into clean well placed shoulders and straight front. Firm in back and straight in topline. Muscular quarters allowing a positive drive to match his reach. Shown in full bloom. RBD.

PB 1 Burnett's Eroica Vom Rickental At Skyeanroos (Entlebucher). Yet another good one from this kennel and surely one with a bright future if she carries on in her development as she is today. Strong in head yet retains her feminine look and charm. Good depth of chest and spring of rib, firm in topline thanks to her well muscled body. Shown in super jacket. One for the future. RBB. 2  Pike & Pike's Pumiden From Ear To Eternity To Breezelyn TAF (Pumi). Well up to size but balanced and sound as they come on the move covering the ground with an effortless stride in all directions. Clean in head, dark pigmentation and correct dentition. Enough in ribbing for her age and size. Just needs to tighten through with time which I'm sure she will given her construction. 3 Bothwick's  Tyngeli Bamm-bamm (Pumi).

JB 1 Pooley's  Zaydah Olympic Victory (Pumi). Took this class with a more positive movement on the day over the second placed bitch. When I judged these two earlier in the year the placings were reversed and I said at that time that she needed work and to be better controlled and today she was and it paid dividends for her. 2 Harvey's Pumiden Total Eclipse (Pumi). As I said she was above the winner last time but today she was not as positive on the move as she was before and seemed to be a tad closer going away. Having said all that they are two very good bitches and given time they will both go on to higher honours for sure. Both are maturing well and 6 months has made a huge difference to both. 3 Smithurst's St Johns Beszti Annabella (Imp) [Kuvasz].

PGB 1 O'Sullivan & Kennett's  Cseri-subas Lelle (Imp) (Pumi). Better shape and balance to this young female than second place today. Moderate angulation front and rear with good muscle definition all through. Clean head planes and dark pigment. Ample spring in ribbing. Steady on the move. 2 Fulker's  Norfolkfield Bella (Entlebucher). Strong head without being overdone or coarse in any way. Good length of neck into moderate forehand. Defined in quarters. Unfortunately carrying too much weight which greatly affected her movement on the day.

OB 1 Harvey's Pumiden More Than A Rainbow (Pumi).  Another I judged earlier in the year and said then she didn't cope well with the bad surface but given her construction she was far cleaner and more positive today on a better flooring and moved out with a real sense of purpose and fluency. Good for type all through from her proportionate head to her well defined quarters presenting a balanced silhouette at all times. Put down to the minute in jacket and body toning to take BB. 2 Balode & Emerson's Shurano Neris (Imp) (Xoloitzcuintle). Super shape to this 3 year old from her well balanced head to her defined quarters. Ample length of neck, muscular and tight into well placed shoulders and straight front. Firm in topline and back thanks to her super muscle toning. The only down side today was that at times she was a little "skittish" and gave her handler a job to do but with her build and toning I would say this was purely an off day for her. 3 Cockerham's  Ir Ch Pattogo Parazs Dadus With Yakuza (Imp) Ir Jun Ch (Pumi).

VB 1 Harvey's Milady Pumidoro To Pumiden (Imp) (Pumi). Yet again this young lady belies her age and showed her heart out moving at a controlled and steady pace that she made look effortless. Well made all through, clean head planes and dark pigmentation. Muscular front assembly matched in her quarters. Shown in top class jacket. BVIB. GCB 1 Burnett's  Eroica Vom Rickental At Skyeanroos. 2 Pooley's Zaydah Olympic Victory. 3 Caines' Pumiden Button In The Ear (Pumi).
