Critique
UTILITY - PD (2) 1 Piper’s Kamora Nagual del Zanjero, this eyecatching 10 months Min Xolo appealed greatly, especially on the move with his free flowing springy step, firm topline, balanced moderate angulation and refined but masculine head, almond eyes, good ear carriage, should do very well. BP and RBD; 2 Poke’s Roltamshe Rocky, 7 months Intermediate Xolo, not so refined in head and skull, shapely elegant outline when standing, reachy neck into OK topline and quarters. Rather erratic on the move today and preferred skin of 1. JD (1) 1 Chambers’ Manzamas Fast And Furious for Musique, elegant well balanced Min Xolo, appeals in outline, masculine head with good skull-muzzle proportions and correct shape eye, nicely arched neck, strong topline, well made hindquarters with which he drives well. Slightly bowed in front and a shade extravagant in front action. PGD (2) 1 Wright’s Sand Man, masculine coated Std Xolo, stronger head type in proportion with well placed ears, shapely body with firm topline, strong hindquarters used well on the move, Front pasterns and feet could be a shade firmer; 2 Thornton and Griffiths’ Fawncrest Roly of Mexolo, quality Min Xolo of a finer type, quality head, enough neck, well ribbed back, bone in proportion to his size, moved true but didn’t retain his topline as well as 1. OD (3) 1 Thornton and Lockhart’s Sheldobchi Drummer Boy at Mexolo, showy Intermediate Xolo of attractive overall balance, correct tail carriage, liked his head which is masculine but still has quality, in good skin, like many could have stronger feet but made an appealing picture both standing and on the move; 2 Unwin and Winter’s Morningcalm White Wizard at Snowtrekka, strongly made Jindo, well proportioned head with almond eyes and nice thick ears, stand-off coat, good topline and tail carriage, steady side gait but could be truer coming and going; 3 Cunningham’s Jindo Cracker of Yulyeong.
PB (2) 1 Spry’s Roltamshe Skye, very elegant 7 months Intermediate Xolo, super quality head and eye, enough bone, reasonable feet, well ribbed, correct topline, strong hindquarters, close up to BP - at this stage the male kept his topline better going round; 2 Gray’s Kamora’s Sukatro, sister to BP, small and very feminine, head in proportion to her size, level back. Rather upright in front and tended to prance in front on the move. OK hindquarters.
OB (3) 1 Purnell-Carpenter’s Morningcalm White Cloud, quality Jindo of excellent overall balance, not in full coat but not much to hide! Super head and eyes, characteristic ears, smooth line through the neck and topline, strongly boned, correct moderate angulation balanced back and front which showed in her steady side gait retaining her topline. BIR; 2 Gray’s Oro Bello Carmen, very stylish Min Xolo in great condition, feminine expression, arched neck, super outline, good tail carriage, could just be a shade firmer in front but a free active mover. Wasn’t surprised to find she is the dam of the lovely puppy. RBB; 3 Spry’s Intermediate Xolo Tamoanchan Venus at Roltamshe.
