Critique

Utility: JD (1) 1 Winter & Unwin's Morningcalm White Wizard At Snowtrekka (AI). 17 mth white Korean Jindo. Quality boy who appealed for overall type and balance and was good to go over. He presented a good outline with slightly arched neck of moderate length, firm level topline, good length to ribcage, muscular loin, moderate tuck up and curled tail set on nice and high. Attractive head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, almond-shaped eyes of good colour and set, ears of correct set and inclining slightly forward and scissor bite. Moderate angles both front and rear, standing on cat-like feet and well muscled hindquarters. Moving out well in profile with moderate length of stride, nice and true when going away. Front action not perfect but nothing untoward. Good quality coat. Excellent temperament. Best DogOD (3, 1) 1 Balode & Emerson's Guy Mexyeliss At Tamoanchan (Imp Ukr). 2 yr old standard Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). This boy was rather unsettled but a comfortable winner and he did enough to take first place. I thought him an excellent type, so well balanced and of sound construction. Clean neck of good length, level topline, good depth to chest, ribbed well back and well sprung, muscular loin, moderate tuck up, slightly rounded croup and tail of correct set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with equal skull to muzzle lengths, parallel planes, dark almond shaped eyes, large ears set on slightly obliquely, slight stop and correct dentition. Well made all through, standing straight in front on good feet and well muscled rear with well let down hocks. Moving freely with good self carriage. Reserve Best Dog. 2 Kirk & Turley's Angelcrest Shadow Master. 4 yr old miniature Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). A boy I have judged previously. He is now mature and the best I have seen him and presented in super, firm condition. Balanced in outline with slightly arched neck of good length, topline not perfect, good depth to chest, ribbed well back and well sprung, moderate tuck up and muscular loin. Parallel planes, almond-shaped eyes of good colour but ears set on a little higher than preferred. Good quality skin. Front could be better both standing and on the move but nice firm rear. Well handled. JB (6,1) 1 Smith, Wisniewski & Maier's Bullybande In The Spotlight for Bondor (Imp Deu). 13 mth standard Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). Quality girl who was a standout in this class for me. She scored for type and presented a beautifully balanced outline with slightly arched, elegant neck, firm level topline, good depth to chest, ribbed well back and ribs nicely sprung, muscular loin, correct tuck up, slightly sloping croup and tail of correct set and carriage. Feminine head with good proportions, parallel planes, excellent eye and ear, slight stop and good dentition. Pleasing angles both front and rear, standing well in front on correct hare feet, well muscled rear, parallel when viewed from behind and hocks well let down. Moving out well on the go around, using herself as she goes and holding her topline. Well handled and presented in excellent condition. Best Bitch & Best AV Imported Breed Register Utility. 2 Gray's Oro Bello Carmen (Imp Ukr). 13 mth miniature Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). This girl has so much to like and she appealed for overall type and balance with slightly arched neck of good length, level topline, good depth to brisket, nice long ribcage, muscular loin, correct croup and tail set. Feminine head and expression with good proportions, dark almond shaped eyes and slight stop. Smooth skin. Her front assembly is not all that it could be, standing a little untidy and could be more positive when on the move. She impressed on the go around, moving out with good self carriage and is nice and true when going away. 3 Balode & Emerson's Tamoanchan Hydra. Coated miniature Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). PGB (3,2) 1 Spry's Rollenwood Chahta. 2 yr old standard Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). Pleasing type and of good size. She presented a balanced outline with clean neck of good length, pretty good topline, nice depth to chest, ribbed well back and ribs nicely sprung, muscular loin, moderate tuck up and correct tail for set and carriage. Head of good proportions, parallel planes, almond shaped eyes of good colour, large ears but uneven set, slight stop and good mouth. Another who could be better in front, toeing out which spoils the picture but she has correct hare feet. Good quality skin. Moving out well enough when viewed in profile, nice and firm in rear but could be better coming at you. Well handled. OB (1) 1 Balode & Emerson's Shurano Neris (Imp Est). 4 yr old miniature Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). Quality girl who was so good to go over. Balanced outline with good length of neck, firm level topline, strong muscular loin, ribcage extending well back, moderate tuck up, slight slope to croup and tail of correct set and carriage. Nicely proportioned head, parallel planes, slight stop, dark almond-shaped eyes and ears of correct set. She stands well naturally with straight forelegs, elbows held close to the chest, correct hare feet, muscular hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Moving freely with good length of stride. Well handled. Reserve Best Bitch.
