Critique
UTILITY & HOUND PD (1) 1 Wright – Sand Man (Xolo). Eleven months sand coated well balanced in profile and on the move, large erect ears well placed, balanced head with appealing expression, most attractive brown eyes, close eye rims lovely black pigmentation. Level back, firm top-line good depth of body and carrying pleasing condition with well angulated stifles. Went soundly but needs to settle on the move, BP.
JD (1) 1 Stanley – Covehithe Steam Boat Willy (B/Tan Coonhound). Fifteen months sizeable youngster displaying good substance and body condition most attractive breed outline excelling in length and clean muscular neck, well boned shoulders and impressive boned forelegs with very well arched toes nicely penciled excellent thick pads. Most promising long head with super length of ear, good depth of brisket for his age, level back strong across the loins. Very well angulated throughout a strong and flowing mover tail well set and carried, reserve BD.
OD (4) 1 Winter & Unwin – Morningcalm White Wizard At Snowtrekka (Korean Jindo). Eighteen months white coated of pleasing texture lying well, medium sized attractive well proportioned head with bright eyes well set and dark coloured, ears triangular, thick and well set to neck. Good bone and neat, tight feet moved soundly needs to body in condition but the essential structure is all well balanced. Sickle tail carried correctly, BD & BOS. 2 Tucker – Elmstracker Glacial Force (Bavarian Mountain Dog). Rising four years impressive mature well muscled condition very well constructed strong neck of medium length, head without exaggeration, distinct stop, heavy broad ears lying close with good head mask. Correct extra body length, splendid top-line and strong, supple back, very well muscled hindquarters, toes tight with black nails. Gave him close consideration for reserve BD. 3. McDonald-Ulliott – Hibeck Dino (Griffon Fauve de Bretagne)
JB (3) 1 Smith, Wisniewski & Maier – Bullybande In The Spotlight For Bondor (Imp Deu) (Xolo). Fourteen months intermediate size lovely type and substance very well muscled throughout especially across the back and loin, pleasing arch and elegance to neck, head wide and strong with slight cheeks and stop, dark eye colour slight full for me. Ears elegant, well set and carried, the best of feet and bone presented in first class body and skin condition a most promising bitch very sound moving, BB & BOB. 2. Gray – Oro Bello Carmen (Imp) (Xolo). Fourteen months miniature with really appealing expression, eyes medium sized and pleasingly placed, dark brown, initially reluctant to use ears but improved with judging. Lovely body condition and construction throughout without exaggeration, strong across the loins a sound and steady mover with pleasing head and tail carriage, reserve BB. 3. Skaboullos & Jenkins – Covehithe Memphis Belle (B/Tan Coonhound)
PGB (1,0) 1 McDonald Ulliott – Hibeck Erin (Griffon Fauve de Bretagne) Nineteen months old well proportioned breed typical outline well coated of correct texture. Head well balanced with attractive typical expression, good under-jaw and plenty of fore-chest on show. Pleasing length of strong neck, level top-line, loins well covered, hindquarters moderately angulated, well muscled and used to much effect with driving movement in profile though needs to settle fore and aft on the move in my opinion, tail well flagged and carried.
OB (1) 1 Skaboullos & Jenkins – Darcy Cerne Eso (Imp CZE) (B/Tan Coonhound). Two years three months super strong bone throughout with excellent low set ears of desired length and fold, dark eye colour well set, shaped with close eye rims full, wide nostrils on show. Well marked tan and penciling excellent fit body condition, hindquarters well muscled with deep second thighs, hock to pad somewhat long. Moved soundly though but with a tendency to go slightly wide on times on the day.
