Utility PD (3) I was delighted to be asked to judge the Utility AV Imported breed Register classes as it would give me the chance to go over both the Korean Jindo and the Xoloitzcuintle; neither breed disappointed and I thoroughly enjoyed going over them. 1 Cassidy’s - Ring Riders Teotihuacán at Chinaskys (Imp Hrv) Br :Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – A really fabulous 7 month old puppy with a stunning breed appropriate outline, being almost square; adequate depth and width of skull for a youngster; correct bite; well carried head on a level back; elegant throughout and moves really well around the ring. BP, RBD 2 Phillips’ - Sangrereal Ringleader Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – 9 month old who is every inch a puppy and although older, he is less developed than my class winner so will need more time to mature I think. He has a pleasant head and a good body shape but needs to fill out; goodlength of neck; quite a firm back. Sound on the move. 3 Lord’s - Sangrereal Criminal Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) JD (2) 1 Cassidy’s - Texcoco De Southerland at Chinaskys (Imp Esp) Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – A very well constructed 14 month old; good head with a pleasant expression; correct ear placement and carriage; well-muscled neck; body proportions good when viewed from all angles; good shoulder placement; good rear angulation. Moves soundly in all directions. BJD 2 Piper & Gray - Local Hero’s Capotztic with Kamjero (Imp Nkk) Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – As with my class winner, this is a nice example of the breed; proportions good; enough angulation front and rear; good top line; tails set and carriage is good. I prefer the head of my class winner. 

PGD (3) 1 Piper - Kamora Nagual del Zanjero Br: Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – 2 year old with a good head and sufficient stop; almond shaped eyes; alert expression; enough bone front and rear; sufficient depth of chest; correct shape of feet. He has a super topline which he holds on the move and movement is good in all directions. 2 Unwin & Winter - Morningcalm Who’s The Daddy Br:Korean Jindo – A well-balanced youngster with a spitz typical wedge-shaped head; alert expression; correct length of neck; correct body shape; lovely tail set and carriage. Ample rear angulation. I would prefer it if his forelegs were a little more parallel. 3 Wallace Chinasky Blazing Flames Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) 

LD (1) 1 Mesdames Thurston & Watson - Liubice Donovan (ai) Br:Korean Jindo – Such a lovely head with a friendly expression; head proportions are correct for the breed; straight forelegs; level back; sufficient angulation fore and aft. A teenage boy behaving as such. He needs to settle but it is always good to see a dog enjoying his day out. OD (3) 1 Unwin & Winter - ShCEx Morningcalm White Wizard at Snowtrekka (ai) Br:Korean Jindo – A really handsome dog with a gorgeous outline; proportions are good throughout as is angulation. I like his head; he has a kind expression. Well-muscled neck; correct bite; good arch of neck; powerfully built. A really sound mover. BD 2 Balode & Emerson - Nahuatl Tenango Arena at Tamoanchan (Imp Mex) Bel Jch Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – Good shape of head; good ear placement and carriage; enough length of neck; straight back; sufficient angulation in his hind quarters. Front is not as strong as my class winner, and this affected his movement a little when coming towards me. 3 Cunningham’s - Ir Ch Champ of Noryeong Sanmaek for Yulyeong (Imp Kor), An Ch 22, Cent Ch 22 Br:Korean Jindo 

Special Beginners Bitch (1) 1 Barlow’s Chelsea Mia (Imp Rus) at Suenaengrand (Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – 2 year old bitch with a pleasing head and feminine expression. It would be impossible to mistake this girl for a male. Nice proportions and fair angulation throughout; level back; well-develop hindquarters. Front a little wide for me but her movement is quite good. A little shy today. 

PB (1) 1 Taylor’s Otumba Mendez at Ometeotl Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – Only 7 months old but she looks quite mature and she moves quite for her age well around the ring and when moving away from me. However, her pasterns need to strengthen a little and this affects her front movement. I feel sure this will improve as she starts to mature. Overall, a nice girl with many positive breed points. 

PGB (4) 1 Cowie & Critcher’s - Sangrereal China Girl at Itzdoble (Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) – The opening line of my notes say ‘what a sound mover’ and she is indeed. She does not appear fully mature yet but there is much to like about her. Her head is quite typical of her breed; correct shape eyes; erect ears; neck of a good shape and a very good outline and a good set of tail. 2 Thurston & Watson - Liubice Dahlia (ai) Br:Korean Jindo – Feminine head and friendly expression; good ear set; strong neck; her hindquarters appear better balanced that her front, which seems a little narrow when standing. Outline is very breed typical; enough tuck-up; high set tail carried sufficiently well 3 Wallace - Chinasky Goddess of Insanity Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) 

LB (2) 1 Unwin & Winter - Liubice Diamante at Snowtrekka (ai) Br:Korean Jindo – Stylish girl only 22 months old. Pleasant head; good neck; shoulders strong enough; proportions good throughout; level back; enough angulation of hindquarters. She moves well with adequate drive from the rear. I like her. RBB 2 Barlow - Chelsea Mia (Imp Rus) at Suenaengrand Br: Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless) 

OB (4) 1 Cassidy - Athena Goddess of Wisdom Iz Kanekso at Chinaskys (Imp Rus) Br: Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless). Stunning bitch so typical of the breed in all ways. Head has enough wedge shape; sufficient stop; intelligent expression; long, strong neck; good angulation of shoulders; straight forelegs; straight, strong back; well sprung ribs; she looks good from all sides and her movement is excellent. Not a muscle out of place. Beautifully presented. Difficult to fault. BB. BOB 2 Cunningham Yulyeong Legend of Zelda, Ir Jun Ch, Cent Ch 22 Br:Korean Jindo – As with my class winner I feel this bitch is quite a good example of her breed. Perhaps she could be a little bigger for me but there is much that I like about her. Good shape of head when viewed from all sides; sufficient arch of neck; strong shoulders; level back; strong hindquarters. 3 Spry Roltamshe Skye Br:Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless)
