Critique
Utility My goodness you should be so proud of representing the Korean Jindo & all sizes of Xolo (Mexican Hairless) in the manner that you did such was the quality and admire your willingness to import, at what must be quite considerable cost, so as to preserve classic breed type moving forward
VD (1 0) 1 Unwin & Winter Lux Bel Ch Morningcalm White Wizard At Snowtrekka(AI) ShCEx, Korean Jindo, rising 8yrs & bred by Meg P-C who we miss so much & lives on through her beloved family, white with ex pigment, struck me as relatively tall & ran that bit close in rear but so v balanced & so v typical, relatively moderate both in his angulation & in his strides on cat feet, shown in a coarse, stand off, coat. Reserve Best Dog & BVIB
PD (2 0 ) 1 Thornton & Lockhart Nubeiro Aoki (Imp Mex), toy Xolo, a truly exciting prospect of just 9m & one to favourably draw attention to the breed’s smallest size, he oozes breed specifics, head has parallels & taper, moderately angulated so as to move with springy step with head held high. BD notwithstanding his tender age, BPIB 2 Cassidy Gladiator Chinaskys Langarica Mex Imp Naf Taf, 10m medium Xolo, ex breed type, ex head, ex structure, ex coat & warmth, just needs patience & practice as we struggled with the table assessment through his concern, gd luck with him as he will certainly be well worth it.
JD (2 0 ) 1 Chambers, Balode & Emerson, Everybody Princes De La Roses At Tamoanchan(Imp Geu), 14m medium Xolo, so typical & with such promising quality, wedge-shaped head with both taper & parallels, nicely bodied with gd width & depth, correct 10:9 bodylength, warm to the touch, balanced & elegant gait with ex head carriage on hare feet. 2 Wallace & Chinasky Chinaskys Bum Ble Be, 14m toy Xolo, ex head type with parallels, ex body shape scoring in chest & proportions being slightly longer than tall, hare feet, tapering tail, he went somewhat erratically that I hope was merely relating to the indoor conditions, as he has so much else going in his favour.
PGD (3 1) 1 Unwin & Winter Morningcalm Who’s The Daddy, 3yrs Korean Jindo that am describing as a pale fawn offset by such ex pigment, blunt triangle of a head with a definite stop & correct 2:3 ratios, oblique almond eye, ears inclined forward, moderate angles ensured moderate strides on cat feet if just a tad careless in front, highset sickle tail, standoff outer coat with thick undercoat, turns out to be another one down to our Meg! 2 Thurston & Watson Liubice Donovan (AI), Korean Jindo, just turned 4yrs, just that bit plainer headed & appeared a touch tall when considering his total balance but well made overall as befitted his maturity, strong neck with slight arch, ex forehand, nicely developed in brisket with a gd spring of rib, level with slight body length, firm pastern, coarse, standoff, coat, came on a tad elbowy but absolutely secure behind.
OD (1 0) 1 Cunningham HR Ch Lux Ch Yulyeong Rock Dee Jay, Korean Jindo, recently turned 5yrs red who struck me as so functionally fit & so breed specific in his type, blunt triangle of a head with its desired 2:3 ratio, oblique eye, level with slight length, unexaggerated angles, correct in croup leading to his highset & carried tail, came on less cleanly than he did when moving so securely away & on ex feet & pads.
PGB (2 0) 1 Unwin & Winter Liubice Diamante At Snowtrekka (AI), 4yrs Korean Jindo & litter sister to L Donovan, ample breed type & so well put together, outstanding, blunt, head with 2:3 ratios, scored in eye & ear with the latter inclined forward atop a neck with slight arch, balanced with moderate angles, stand off coat more profuse on tail & thighs, so exceptionally sound, on such gd bone & feet, that could only be described as “foot perfect “ & saw her win her way through to the Group. BB, BOB 2 Spry, Balode & Emerson, Tamoanchan Xareni, 2.5yrs standard Xolo from Mex/Rus imports, such ex head properties with taper & parallels, scored in eye & ear, gd width & depth, moderate angles, firm pastern, hare feet, correct 10:9 slight length, just not holding it quite together on the move today being rather proud at elbow & somewhat wide behind, suspect she will benefit from more outdoor space & the opportunity for a full stride.
OB (3 0) 1 Chambers & Chambers Tamoanchan Nefertiri To Musique, 3yrs medium Xolo, immediately appealed being of such ex breed type & conformation, head had breadth with taper & parallel planes, ex eye & ear, having initially been a bit concerned when on the table, she did relax to give a gd account of herself on the move & demonstrated that lovely length of flowing stride & elegant outline, in the challenge her sheer quality was undeniable & earned her Reserve BB. 2 Cunningham Enigma Of Yulyeong (Imp Kor), 6ys Korean Jindo of such functional fitness & the v essence of breed type as would be expected given her true Korean roots, definite stop, correct 2:3 ratio, ideally placed ear, pale colour with ex pigment, correct bodylength, she strode out so well with such balanced moderate strides, albeit somewhat distracted by the ringside, but type will “out” as they say. 3 Spry, Bel Ch Lux Ch & Roltamshe Skye, Xolo
